I’ve been dying to post this wedding.  I love being published, but I gotta say, it sucks to not be able to share right away!   Sharon & Eugene are the cutest and most loving people.  Although I did not meet them until the day of their wedding, their warm and fun nature made me feel as if we’ve been friends forever.  They had a beautiful destination wedding in Hawaii and was surrounded by all their friends and family who flew in from all over the world to celebrate with them!  You can catch this wedding on newsstands now in Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine.

Their wedding location was amazing!  I mean, truly Ah-maaaa-zing!  They got married on the property of Kualoa Ranch, where they filmed Lost, Jurassic Park, and many others.  Their ceremony took place on the beach of  Secret Island (where we had to take a boat to) and their reception was in the middle of the forest in Moli’i Gardens.

“Love the Moment” is really how the two of them live life.  I love it!

Eugene and his groomsmen are all in the Army.  A very appropriate (and scary) groomsmen gift:

Love this moment from their first look:

The fun adventure starts with all the guests meeting up at Kualoa Ranch…

We then had to take a short boat ride over to Secret Island:

On Secret Island, there was a beautiful ceremony set up waiting for us.  Such a close up view of Mokoliʻi Island (Chinaman’s Hat):

I’ve always wanted to swim to Chinaman’s hat… looks so close, doesn’t it?

After the beach, we wandered through the forest to get back to our boat.  It’s so beautiful to have the forest right next to the beach.  Unreal!

I LOVE how all the ladies are in Vera Wang.  Sharon’s dress was stunning, and so were all her bridesmaids.  Such a beautiful blue… and I’m a total sucker for perfect bows!  I also adore the calla lily bouquets.

And now off to cocktail hour!

There was definitely a lot to coordinate here, and everything went beautifully thanks to Karine of Seasons of Life Events.

LOVE the succulent centerpieces… notice the use of rice?!   And for escort cards/favors, they sewed little pouches for each guests!

Their giant cupcake is so adorable… brilliant work of A Cake Life.

And a picture perfect first dance… in the middle of a tropical forest.

One of my favorite part of the night, shaved ice bar!  Oh man I miss Hawaii so much right now…

Congrats to Sharon and Eugene.  May the rest of your life be a party like this!
