Congrats to my friends Jen & Jason on their beautiful daughter, Sienna. You may recognize Jen from their past shoots, or from her blog, Green Wedding Shoes. Two weeks after maternity photo session, I had the honor of visiting them in their home to document their new little bundle of joy. Sienna couldn’t wait to enter this world and unexpectedly came early… so early in fact that her nursery wasn’t complete yet. I actually like that we got to document her in her new room before it’s complete so that she can see the progression. Plus she has this super cool wall that now has a crib in front of it, so it was cool that we got to use it as a photo backdrop. Just look at the glowing new parents:
And speaking from experience, new parents spending a lot of time staring at the new baby… it’s just so surreal…
Congrats again to Jen & Jason. Welcome to parenthood… it will be the hardest and the most rewarding thing you do…
