After all that time to find the perfect dress and perfect accessories, the day goes by so fast! I remember with our own wedding, Jonathan broke down the hourly cost of my dress. To make the most of it, we pulled it out on our one year anniversary and did a “trash the dress” photo session with it, though we didn’t actually “trash” the dress. I cleaned it after and it was good as new. I sold it after. :) I heard my friend & colleague, Alice, call these sessions Encore and just thought it was a brilliant name. I think every bride would want to put on her wedding dress again, especially for an Encore session.
A few months after Natalie & Reily’s wedding, they got to put on their wedding attire again, get a similar bouquet recreated, and do fun photos at a beautiful location that time constraints from a wedding just doesn’t allow.
I love their style. Her little bolero, his Burberry suit from Japan, the flower in her hair…
Kelly Zhang was the genius behind her flawless makeup & hair.
I love their matching bands:
Something about this candid moment of him that I just love:
I don’t remember what took her breath away, but i love her expression. I wonder what he said to her…
It was so awesome to be able to spend this evening with such a fun loving couple. It was fun watching everyone congratulate them – at first they would explain, but eventually they just played along as if they just got married that day.

Encore session! I love that; it sounds so much sweeter than trash the dress. And I love your photos, as always.
