We’re back from Bali and finally adjusted from the jet lag.  It was an amazing trip and I can’t wait to share.  We ended up not having internet for most of the trip, and though it was inconvenient, it was kind of nice to be unplugged!  This photo was taken at the monkey forest in Ubud, Bali.  The monkey approached Cameron and as Cameron leaned in for a kiss, the ranger yelled at us.  oops!

I am preparing for the holidays with my family and will be taking a break til 2013.  I am no longer booking for 2012, so if you’ve been thinking about doing a shoot, contact me about Jan or Feb 2013 soon because my calendar is filling up.  In the meantime, I will be wrapping up my 2012 clients and hope to get everything out before the new year!

  1. Photojournalism is really a caring profession. Without the proper commitment it isn’t possible to achieve your ultimate goal in this area. It is directly linked with third eye, that is why it is simply not an painless task.

  2. I totally love this shot! So funny about being yelled at… they are still wild animals. Cute kid! Love your photos Caroline. I am totally in love with your style.

  3. This is a great and funny picture! I hope that you and your family had a great time in Bali. It’s a good thing that it’s at the Monkey forest as opposed to the naughty one in Uluwatu. :) I was in fact in Bali early in November and had them posted on my blog as well (https://www.momentdia.com/archives/6907). Love your work and looking forward to see more pictures of Bali from your side! :)

  4. That is correct. People say that they are naughty since they were not well fed unlike the one in the Monkey forest. :(

  5. i heard about the one in uluwatu! the one where the monkeys steal your jewelry and you have to pay the guards to get it back?
