I love a small wedding, so when it came time to shoot the sample editorial for my online workshop, an intimate Valentine’s Day wedding celebration was the perfect choice. Real couple, Hannah & Steve served as our models for this chic inspiration shoot. Hannah wore an insanely stunning wedding dress, Diamante by Caroline Herrera, which was paired with a vintage pearl seed necklace from the 1890’s and classic pearl drop earrings, both from 33 Jewels. For the faux ceremony, stylist Kelly Oshiro used a vintage fireplace mantle from Pretty Vintage Rentals and clusters of taper and pillar candles for a simple and romantic look. Classic Valentine’s Day red mixed with deeper shades of merlot and bright cherry were paired with black, gray, and gold accents. Dinner was kept formal, though intimate, the bride and groom sat at the head of the table and enjoyed a meal by Mr. & Mrs. Creamery with engagement cornish hens with pomegranate seeds, butternut squash soup, and roasted farmer’s market carrots. After dinner cocktails were served from a gold bar cart which also doubled as the cake table. You can see the preview of my online workshop here coming out in March and your can see this editorial featured on Style Me Pretty right here.
