I never imagined I would win the Creator of the Year award… it had never even been on my radar because I don’t do any of this for accolades.
2020 was a tough year for all and with all of my weddings canceled, I channeled my energy into creating things I never had time to before. I invited my followers to tune in live, and created content to uplift others through the uncertainty.
I am beyond touched with the extent that WPPI and Range Finder Magazine went to orchestrate this surprise with my husband. I was surprised with a beautiful video highlighting my work, mostly created during the pandemic. What a surreal moment to see my work presented in that way. It was the most touching tribute from an organization that I’ve respected from the beginning - WPPI is where my growth began.
I also want to thank my Fujifilm family who has always been so supportive of my art, equipping me with the necessary gear for my projects, and spreading the word of my work.
Also super grateful for my Fundy Software family who has helped me scale my business. You guys are family to me and I’m so grateful for you. You’ve taken care of me not just as a business, but also personally, like when you sent my family masks at the start of the pandemic when they were sold out everywhere.
And last but certainly not least, I want to thank my team. None of this would be possible without their hard work and dedication. Thank you for believing in me and keeping the back end running so I can play and create on the front end. Love you all!
