Yvonne and Brandon perfectly blended their two cultures in a great day of celebration. I love how they tied in both Mexican and Japanese heritage so beautifully and thoughtfully. On a technical note, I starting shooting some b&w film during the getting ready and just loving it. To me, it gives the photo more depth. What do you think?
I love the gorgeous flowers by fleuretica:
And Brandon’s grandpa (above) is the cutest grandpa I’ve met. He’s so full of life and laughter!
Above is their favor, Mexican wedding cookie in a sake box!
They also had a signature drink, the Murasaki Margarita, which combined tequila & sake. I didn’t have any, but it looked good! And one of the highlights was that they had Taiko drummers and a Mariachi band! The crowd loved it! It was such an exciting way to bring in another cultural element.

thanks, becca!! i don’t shoot many church weddings, so it’s fun to get shots so uniquely to a church.
emilia, i’m in love with the b&w images too!
Beautiful wedding. LOVE the bottom right doorway photo of #18
