Los Angeles Maternity Photographer

As a Los Angeles maternity photographer, I come across many family stories. This one, a story of hope, particularly moved me.

I first met Pearl and Matt in 2016 when the two of them came to my holiday mini session. They were trying to conceive at the time, so it potentially could’ve been their last holiday as a family of two, and wanted to document that... though conceiving would prove to be more difficult than expected.

Two years (and exhausting every option) later, they started IVF and wanted me to document their journey.

I’ve had the honor of documenting two holiday seasons for this adorable family of 3 now and I am moved every time I get to see them.

The biggest lesson I learned from them is that whatever your journey is, embrace it, regardless of the outcome. I saw them love and appreciate each other through it, and kept their focus on each other rather than the outcome. They kept an open mind and positive attitude, ready to accept whatever the outcome may be.
